Day 1

Dublin - Galway


Meet and greet with your driver guide at arrivals at Shannon or Dublin aiport Sit back and relax while your chauffeur drives you to your first castle hotel. Travel to Galway city for a quick city tour with your driver guide. Exploring local sites such as Galway city Cathedral, Galway museum, the Claddagh and many more. Travel onto Connemara and check into the 4 star Ballinahinch Castle and check in x 2 nights. Ballynahinch Castle and Connemara have provided artistic inspiration to writers, poets and artists for hundreds of years and continues to intrigue and inspire today. Ballynahinch Castle continues to play a central role in these activities and hosts and sponsors writers and artists as they engage in this remarkable landscape.

Day 2

Connemara, Cong


Day 2 Today Explore Connemara. Visit Kylemore Abbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle, in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. The abbey was founded for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium in World War I. Explore the 6 acre Victorian Walled Garden with its delightfully restored garden buildings. Drive the Renvyle Peninsula, Dominated by Tully Mountain, the Renvyle Peninsula offers panoramic sea views and a slice of the old Irish way of life. There are stunning views across Ballynakill Bay and, on a clear day, you can see the conical holy mountain of Croagh Patrick, County Mayo. Visit Cliften town, the hub of Connemara followed by a drive on Sky road. Justifiably famous for the views it affords, the Sky Road route takes you up among the hills overlooking Clifden Bay and its offshore islands, Inishturk and Turbot. Visit Cong, home to the film set of the 'the Quiet Man' and now has a museum . Return to Ballinahinch Castle for your last evening.

Day 3

Burren, Bunratty


Depart Connemara and south Travel through the Burren in Co. Clare. Areas of interest are the Burren Chocolate shop, the Burren perfumery and Poulnabourne Dolmen. Take the scenic Ballybaughan to Doolin route with the limestone on your right and the Atlantic ocean on your left. Travel to the Cliffs of Moher and explore the 8th wonder of the world. Step on to the edge of the world and into an awe-inspiring view that dreams are made of, at the Cliffs of Moher you will encounter nature in its wildest, purest form – see the rugged cliffs facing the mighty ocean, taste the salt air, hear the birds cry, feel the ancient rocks beneath your feet, smell the wind. Travel to Bunratty for a quick photo stop at Bunratty Castle and Folkpark. Travel to Dromoland castle, and check in x 1 night Ensuite rooms date back to the 16th century, and are decorated in a fine blend of old worlde and contemporary décor. They have flatscreen TV, Nespresso machine, toiletries, slippers and bathrobe and free Wi-Fi. Some have minibars, and lake or courtyard views.

Day 4

Tralee, Slea Head


Depart Dromoand at leisure for Tralee. From here take the Conor pass, A winding mountain pass, the views are magnificent, the scenery so unspoilt Drive around Dingle and enjoy the scenic drive around Slea head of the Dingle peninsula. Slea Head Drive is a circular route that starts and finishes in Dingle town. You’re truly getting away from it all here. Secluded golden beaches, fascinating archaeological sites and weather-beaten landscape is everywhere. All as nature intended. Visiting Gallarus Oratory, the beehive huts, famine cottages and the Blasket centre. There is plenty of local seafood on offer here for lunch. Lots of photo opportunities along this beautiful scenic drive. Return to Tralee Check into Ballyseede Castle x 2 nights. It offers you the chance to truly appreciate history, whilst relaxing and enjoying a break from hectic modern life. Come along to Ballyseede and hear the stories, sample the fine cuisine and enjoy the 'craic' in the heart of Kerry. Day 5

The Ring of Kerry


Today explore Killarney and the beautiful surrounding attractions. Drive the Ring of Kerry visiting Killorglin. It’s known for one of the best sandy Atlantic beaches on our small island. A great spot to kick your shoes off, if you fancy. Dingle Bay is a fabulous place. What with towering cliffs and crashing waves falling onto endless sandy beaches. Cahirciveen is along the route. It’s the birthplace of Daniel O’Connell, Ireland’s Great Liberator. The route winds round to Valentia Island, from where you’ll catch sight of Skellig Island – one for Star Wars fans (it was a key filming location). You’ll then travel through Sneem village and on to Molls Gap. Drive onto Killarney National Park and visit Muckrose House and Gardens, Ross Castle and Torc Waterfall. If you’d like to experience some Irish music and dancing, your driver-guide can take you to an Irish night with dinner. You’ll soak up a lively night with traditional food, costumed dancers and warm hospitality.

Day 6

Cork


Depart Kerry and travel to Cork Travel to Blarney Castle. Have you heard about the legendary Stone of Eloquence. Since 1446, it’s been safely resting in the 600-year-old tower at Blarney Castle. A world landmark in Ireland, the story goes that if you climb the tower and kiss the Stone of Eloquence, you’ll never be lost for words again! Travel to Cobh and visit Saint Colman's Cathedral in Cobh, Built on an artificial bed of sandstone and erected between 1859 and 1919, this cathedral exemplifies the French Gothic style. Cobh is also home to the Titanic experience Enjoy Kinsale and explore this pretty town named the gourmet capital of Ireland. Kinsale is a town on the southern coast of Ireland, in County Cork. Two 17th-century fortresses overlook the River Bandon: the vast, star-shaped Charles Fort to the southeast, and the smaller James Fort on the river's opposite bank. The 16th-century courthouse building houses the Kinsale Regional Museum, with a variety of displays on local history and information about the 1915 sinking of the RMS Lusitania. Depart cork for Waterford and Visit House of Waterford Crystal before departing for your hotel. Dublin


Check out of your hotel and travel to Dublin city Visit the Book of Kells Exhibition, it is a must see on the itinerary of all visitors to Dublin. Located in the heart of Dublin City, a walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed and which displays the Book of Kells. The Book of Kells is Ireland's greatest cultural treasure and the world's most famous medieval manuscript. The 9th century book is a richly decorated copy of the four Gospels of the life of Jesus Christ. Visit St Patricks Cathedral, founded in 1191, is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland. With its 43-metre spire, St. Patrick's is the tallest church in Ireland and the largest. Visit Kilmainham Jail, opened in 1796 as the new County Gaol for Dublin.
