Day 1

Arrival

Your golf tour begins in the beautiful county Dublin, where you will check into Portmarnock hotel and Golf links. Relax and rewind for the evening.

Day 2

Portmarnock

Situated on the shoreline of a rugged peninsula, The Links Portmarnock was the first golf course that International Management Group (IMG) developed in Ireland and opened for play in 1995.

Day 3

K Club

The hotel complex also contains two golf courses, both designed by Arnold Palmer. The Palmer Course was the venue for the Ryder Cup in 2006, the first time the event had been staged in Ireland. The course also hosted the Smurfit European Open on the European Tour from 1995 to 2003 and again in 2005, with that tournament being played on the resort’s “inland links” K Club Course in 2004, 2006, and 2007. The Palmer Course hosted the Irish Open in 2016, won by Rory McIlroy.

Day 4

The European Club

Travel to County Wicklow and play the European Club which is located in tumbling dunes just south of Dublin and it features sweeping sea views from nineteen of the twenty holes.  Yes, there are two extra par-3s here and they are in play most days affording the golfer a 20-hole round which includes five holes running very close to the sea.  So close that it is common to find players searching for their golf balls on the beach. Spend the evening exploring Glendalough and Powerscourt gardens and waterfall. Check into the 5 star Powerscourt resort.

Day 5

The Island Golf Club

Travel to Dublin city. Experience the iconic Guinness store house and Kilmainham Jail. In the afternoon paly the Island Golf Club in Donabate Dublin, founded in 1890, is a traditional private Members’ golf club with a proud history of upholding the best traditions of amateur golf. Overlooked by the North County Dublin village of Malahide, the links is located in some of the most stunning dunes on the east coast of Ireland. It is also one of the oldest golf courses in Ireland and was ranked 13th in Golf Digest Ireland’s Top 100 Courses in 2015. It enjoys a growing international reputation and currently hosts Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship and will co-host strokeplay qualifying for the British Amateur Championship in 2019. Relax in one of Dublin’s Luxury Hotels

Day 6

Co. Louth Golf Club

Travel to County Louth and play Louth Golf course which is a links golf course located in the village of Baltray, County Louth in Ireland. It is situated approximately 4 miles from the town of  Drogheda. The Irish Open professional golf tournament which is part of the PGA European Tour has been held there on two occasions, in 2004 and 2009. The current course was designed in 1938 by Tom Simpson and is laid out over 190 acres (77 ha) of land. The 18-hole course par score is 72 with a course length of 7031 yards. Return to Dublin city for overnight accommodation in one of Dublin’s Luxury hotels. Suggestion of Dinner in Johnnie Foxes Pub, Situated in Glencullen on top of the Dublin mountains, Johnnie Fox’s is one of Ireland’s oldest and most famous traditional Irish pubs – and they are also famed as the highest pub in the country. They are located approximately 25-35 minutes’ drive from Dublin City centre. Authentic Irish music is provided every night alongside fine dining.

Day 7

Royal Dublin Golf Club

Travel to the Royal Dublin Golf club, founded in 1885 by Sir John Lumsden, this Golf Club is steeped in golfing history and presents a stern golfing examination on a truly magnificent links course and is widely accepted as one of the greatest links courses in the world. The links was originally designed by H.S.Colt, the world famous golf architect from Sunningdale. “Five-star golf”, “a top course”, “challenging but rewarding” are some of the comments made by our visitors after playing the links at The Royal Dublin Golf Club. Our links is a traditional out-and-back design created in 1920 by Harry Colt. In the early 2000’s the Club enlisted links design expert Martin Hawtree to make significant changes which have been widely praised and acknowledged by many. After these changes the links remains challenging for today’s golfer. Retire to your Dublin city accommodation for your final night of Irish culture.
